Jody Holtzman is President of Strategy Dynamics Group. He has almost two decades of experience helping companies and organizations identify and achieve their strategic goals in the market and organizationally. Over the course of his career, Jody has provided strategic counsel to numerous senior executives of both Fortune 500 and middle-market companies, as well as public-private sector initiatives and government officials, on issues related to business strategy development, strategic planning and implementation, organizational effectiveness, market and competitive intelligence, M&A and merger integration, strategic positioning and brand strategy, new product and service development, and international economic development.

Prior to the establishment of Strategy Dynamics Group, Jody was a Principal of Global Strategy Group (GSG), a strategic research and consulting firm. Jody was asked to join GSG following his design and facilitation of the firm's strategic planning process, which identified new business opportunities and established consensus among the firm's partners regarding their strategic goals and business strategy.

Before being asked to join GSG, Jody was a Director of Strategy and Planning in the Office of the Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers. In this role, Jody helped business unit leaders strengthen strategic thinking, identify new market and service opportunities, and conduct annual business planning. In addition, Jody had responsibility for PwC's market intelligence activities. As Project Leader for the firm's global Market Intelligence Network, he directed on-going assessments of the external and competitive environment and their implications for business strategy, and regularly presented findings and recommendations to PwC's senior management.

Prior to his work with PwC, Jody was Vice President of Diefenbach Elkins, a brand strategy consultancy, where he had responsibility for the firm's consulting group. Jody's professional career also includes a position with ICF International, where he received special commendation from the United States National Response Team for his role in directing the Report to the President on the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill. At ICF, Jody also directed several analyses on the international use and trade of chlorofluorocarbons for the Montreal Protocol to Protect the Ozone Layer. And before ICF, Jody had his own firm, Global Dynamics, which specialized in international and community economic development, international business risk management, and foreign investment promotion in developing countries.

Jody received his MA in International Relations and Political Economy from the University of Chicago where he was a Hillman Fellow, and a BA in Political Science and History from the City College of New York where he graduated cum laude. He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals. Jody, whose career options once almost included a place in a famous rock band, lives with his wife and three children in New Rochelle, NY.
